AFTER SCHOOL CLASSES
past offerings:
JUEGOS EN ESPAÑOL
K- 2nd grades
@ Arts & Letters
With our instructor, DZ Maciel of Peruvian descent, students will be immersed in Spanish through board, movement, classic, theater, and international games. This is intended to build on concepts introduced in the Movement en Espanol class that was taught last semester. Class is limited to 10 students.
EMBROIDERY EN ESPAÑOL
3rd-5th grades
@ ARts & Letters
With our master embroiderer, Luna Silva from Colombia, students will be immersed in Spanish as they learn basic embroidery stitches including: straight stitch, back stitch, chain stitch, fly stitch, France stitch and more. Through this base we will build towards a final project whereby students will embroider their own illustrations! All materials will be provided. If you have any special fabrics your student would like to use, we encourage you to share them!
